Pre-Onboarding Procedure

In order to make the employment experience as good as possible for all new team members, we have established a pre-onboarding procedure that must be followed for all new team members.

The Pre-Onboarding Checklist must also be completed.

Prior to the start date of any team member, their team leader must:

  1. Ensure an up-to-date job description is available for the team member’s position.
  2. Ensure an up-to-date list of competencies and KPI’s is available for the team member and their position.
  3. Prepare their desk space – ensure they have an appropriate desk and chair, along with a computer, mouse and keyboard.
  4. Ensure they
    1. have access to a mobile phone if their position will involve needing to leave the office and ensure the phone has a number and data.
    2. are assigned a login to MS 365 Teams Calling.
  5. Ensure their desk contains, at least, a pen and notebook. Other stationery items that may be needed are ruler, stapler, staples, hole punch, pens, pencils, textas, tape, highlighters.
    1. Note that our environmental and social responsibility policy includes a clause stating as much as possible, we are a paperless office.
  6. Ensure that all programs they need are loaded on to their computer and that logins for all the programs are created.
  7. Make sure they know the address, the time and date they are expected, the dress code, and that lunch facilities are few.
