Assigning a Job Code to a new job is:
Take the first three letters of the client’s name
then take the first three letters of the job title
then take the next three digit number.
So, for example, when Staffr runs a second job for a Salesperson, the code will be:
First three letters of the client’s name: STA
First three letters of the job title: SAL
Second salesperson job they have run: 002
STASAL002
This job code is used everywhere on our systems to denote the job, so we can identify documentation that applies to the job as well as costs that should be applied against the revenue from the job.
A check should be made prior to the code being assigned that it has not been used previously. This can be done on ClickUp by accessing the Job Ad and Recruitment Activities space, and searching on the job code. If it does not appear, it is acceptable to use.
