This amended Leave Policy is part of the trial of flexible working arrangements for March to August 2023. It will be reviewed following that time.
All employees are entitled to Annual Leave and Personal/Carer’s Leave as part of the National Employment Standards.
As much notice as possible should be given where Annual Leave is required. This ensures that the company can plan around your absence.
All employees will have access to My Xero to lodge Annual and Personal leave requests.
If you take Personal/Carer’s Leave of more than one day, you need to provide a medical certificate.
If you are unwell but still able to work, you are welcome to work from home, so long as you have the necessary facilities, your health will not suffer, and it will not result in a lower standard of customer service. Please ensure you let your supervisor know your availability and make sure your company phone is switched on and charged.
If you are sick, or on annual leave, we don’t expect you to answer your company phone or attend the office at all.
