Client Recruitment Consultation Procedure

Version: 1/2023

The client recruitment consultation session is held once the initial invoice is paid. It’s also useful to have the Transferable Skills list completed prior to this meeting, and have received a copy of their job description, if one exists.

The client discovery session involves a consultation to discover the following details:

  • All the details of the job including who the person will be working with and the makeup of their team.
  • A list of questions designed to work out the personal attributes that would best suit the job and the company.
  • Sociographic details so we can target our advertising at the most effective market.

The procedure is:

  1. Access the job on the Job Ad and Recruitment Activities space on ClickUp
  2. On the left-hand side, type “/” and start typing Template, then select Template.
  3. If Principal Job – Questions for Client does not appear in the list, click on Browse.
  4. Click on Principal Job – Questions for Client
  5. This will drop the list of questions into ClickUp
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the list of questions, and type “/” and start typing Template, then select Template.
  7. If Pre-advertisement Tasks does not appear in the list, click on Browse.
  8. Click on Pre-advertisement Tasks.
  9. This will populate the Subtasks list below the table with 11 tasks that are to be completed prior to the job being advertised.
  10. Contact the client at the pre-arranged time and run through the questions, but listen closely for what is not said. Don’t be afraid to ask difficult questions if any come up, its important that we have a thorough understanding of what the client wants and needs.
  11. Advise the client that we will provide them with the Job and Candidate Profile, which they need to sign off on and also the second part of the invoice will need to be paid before we place any advertisements.
  12. Once you exit the phone call, send a request to the bookkeeper to prepare the second part of the invoice and forward it to you.
